Quick update: I was cleaning out my attic and found the last box of KHC CDs. I had a feeling there was one last box out there, and it finally surfaced. The web store has been updated to put those back up for sale. This is a classic UY CD/EP, and once they are gone KHC will be completely out of print.
While I’m at it, I might as well share a bit about the KHC cover. That’s me (Thomas) on the cover. I had the idea for the cover, but didn’t plan on having myself on the cover, but that’s the way it ended up. I was actually pretty embarrassed to be doing a “photo shoot” out there on the highway. It can be pretty busy, and a few people stopped to ask if our car was broken down and if we needed a lift. The street behind me really is Kamehameha Highway, or Kam Highway as it is commonly known. Kam Highway runs along a lot of the coast on the island of Oahu. If you live out where we live there is only one way to go anywhere, Kam Highway, so suffice it to say, we spend a lot of time driving that road.
Anyway, make sure you check out our previous post for a cool studio update. I’m pretty amped for everyone to hear this new stuff!
I received this cd from a family by the name phillips. 5 years ago. I have recently found my cd and have been sharing it with the local ska/punk kids in my town. They love it as do I. Thanks for making some real music for our ears to enjoy!
